Catch Me If You Can: The Musical, book by Terrence McNally, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, chronicles the story of Frank Abagnale, Jr. in a high speed and exciting musical, filled with love, crime, and drama. For this show we took on the terrifying task of putting our orchestra 8' in the air onstage behind all of our staging, while keeping the set entirely white and stylized. In order to keep with the retro style, we used lights behind bleached muslin to give an LED wall impression to give different locations a different look. On top of that, we created a working trap door/lift for our lead actor to make quick entrances and exits in between the orchestra.
