(s/f) AIRNESS: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION

Airness by Chelsea Marcantel, is about friendship, family, and self acceptance through the glorious art-form of air guitar. At Pearland High School, we chose to do this production for UIL OAP in 2025 to show our students its absolutely okay to "cut loose" and to allow your inner child to come out and have fun on the stage. While we didn't advance, our students were still moved by this powerful piece and had a blast along the way. Our mission for this show was to capture that "dingy bar" feel while still being able to move into the "rock performance" environment that motivates our characters into achieving "airness."
