Clue: Onstage, based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn and adapted for the stage by Sandy Rustin, transforms the zany dark comedy into a two hour production performed by high school students. In our Fall play, we had an entire student-led creative team, and I took on a mentor role for each student and took on the task of constructing a two-story set that represents an Edwardian manor. Spanning over 20 feet tall, fitted with 10 doors, a trap door, hidden safes and falling chandeliers, this show was a delight to build and to push our theatre department to new heights.
